The Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Habitat (MUVH) held its "Mi Vivienda Paraguay" Expo and Forum on July 25 and 26, an event designed for families interested in getting their first home to learn firsthand about the available subsidy programs.
The program targets people with incomes between Gs. 4,020,560 and Gs. 18,762,611 who don't yet own a home, with subsidies ranging from 5% to 20% of the property's value depending on household income level. MUVH has kept up this kind of rollout throughout 2026, including hundreds of social housing units in departments like Presidente Hayes, Boquerón, and Paraguarí.
If you're considering your first purchase, it's worth checking whether you qualify for any of these subsidies before setting your budget: they can make a real difference in your home's final price.
