Guide 1

Set your budget

Asunova / Guides / Set your budget

Before looking for your home, get your finances in order: how much you can save, how much you need for the down payment, and in what timeframe.

Buying your new home starts long before choosing the project — it starts with your budget. Having clear numbers avoids surprises and lets you negotiate with confidence.

Know how much you can save

Review your monthly income and expenses to identify how much you can set aside for savings. That figure sets your goal and timeframe for gathering your down payment.

Define your down payment

Most lenders require a down payment of between 20% and 30% of the home's value. The bigger your down payment, the lower your monthly payment will be.

  • Calculate 30% of the value of the home you want.
  • Set a realistic savings timeframe.
  • Keep that savings in a separate account.

What would your payment be?

Use our calculator to estimate the monthly payment based on the property value and down payment.
